Sombreros were out in force at Samford Grove as residents came together for a lively taco lunch, turning an ordinary day into a celebration of food, friendship and community.

The event saw neighbours gather to enjoy a delicious spread of tacos, with plenty of laughter and conversation flowing throughout the afternoon. From the first bite to the final moments, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming and full of energy.

For many residents, it was the simple joy of coming together that made the day so special.

“Thank you all for a very enjoyable event. Great company always,” shared resident Gordon Pullar.

Others echoed the sentiment, with Bob Millar describing the tacos as “delectable” and thanking the team for another “great community building luncheon activity.”

Vicki Svensen also expressed her appreciation, thanking the staff and volunteers who helped bring the event to life, while Lucy Hilliard summed up the day perfectly: “Had a great day with the best residents ever.”

A special thank you goes to the bar committee and all those involved in organising the event. Their efforts ensured a seamless and enjoyable experience for everyone.

With such a fantastic turnout and so much positive feedback, it’s safe to say the taco lunch was a resounding success. And the good news is, it’s sure to be one of many memorable moments still to come at Samford Grove.
